Geoffrey arrived at
RAF Brize Norton this morning from an adventure in Alaska with the 617Sqn and found himself in the hands of the wonderful Phoebe Valentine-Wood who was our Co-pilot for the Flight of the Giraffes.
Here you can see Phoebe handing Geoffrey over to the captain of the mighty C-130 Hercules call sign Oman 2 who was 1 of 3 Hercules that took part in the King’s Birthday Flypast over Buckingham Palace.
Such an iconic moment as this is the last operational flight by the Hercules before they are retired, the motto for the C-130 is First one in Last one out!
